Upon landing, you will find your driver waiting for you at Ibn Battouta airport. Then, drive to Cap Spartel, Hercules Cave, and El Kasbah (the old medina of Tangier).
Then, we will lead the way to Tetuan & Chefchaouen( Xaouen).
After your typically Moroccan breakfast, take a walk in the medina of Chefchaouen. Then, we drive on to Volibulus, the Roman Empire which is considered to be the most ancient preserved city in Morocco. It was settled in 3rd century by the Mauretanian kings and considered as an annex by the Roman emperor Claudius in AD45. Then, we will head to Meknes which is a blessed land with cereals, olives, fruits, and wine. Meknes reigned Morocco around 17th century with its famous Moulay Ismail.
After a full day exploring some mysteries of Morocco, we stay for the night in Fez.
In your 3rd day, you will take a guided walking tour of the Medina of Fez, it covers the following: The famous Bab Boujloud, Chaouara Tannery, el Attarine & Bou Inania Medresa Foundouk el Nejjarine, and the Merinid tombs. The old medina (Fas el Bali), which is only accessible on foot for people and donkeys and mules’ back for commodities. Fez city is also a good option for Morocco Food tours; you may try honey cakes, harira (soup), all kinds of Moroccan bread, and handmade ceramics decorating techniques that are used in Morocco.
In today’s adventure, you will cross the Atlas Mountains which begin with the great cedar forest. The ever varied landscape will amaze you since you are opting for this Morocco desert experience. The first place that is made in your visit is Ifrane, a tiny and ordered city that gives you the impression of relocating in Switzerland, for its red roofed-houses and lake parks. After that, we resume the drive into the Middle Atlas Mountains to arrive at Ziz Valley, a valley known for the production of dates, its Oued Ziz which vitalizes the region and gives a watchful eye landscape for the valley. This day ends saddling a camel attending a desert sunset in the desert camp where you will spend the night.
Today’s experience is very special since that you will wake up early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the sand dunes, and have the chance to enjoy the serenity of the desert. What makes the Sahara Desert a good destination for travels is the silence it embodies and the unforgettable experience you will have riding a camel to your desert camp and go sand boarding. After breakfast, you desert experience will start on the camp and lead on to sit with family nomads and sip some tea, then we drive to the village of Merzouga. After that, we will go to enjoy Gnaoua music at Khamlia village.
Having spent a marvellous night in the Sahara desert is never ending. After you take your breakfast, we will be heading back to the 1000 Casbah trail, getting the chance to know how the family nomads have invented their underground irrigation canals, by means of saving water from evaporating due to the region arid weather. Next step, you are going the encounter the Rose Valley village, in which the rose perfume is distilled naturally. The life in these south areas is so fascinating that you can get in touch with the Berber families, and enjoy the calmest oases of the very South of Morocco. Upon your arrival to Ouarzazat, a mint tea greeting is awaiting for you.
Today’s adventure is more enjoyable for the drive through the photogenic Atlas Mountains, crossing Tizi N’Tishka mountainous pass (2260m). On the way, we will have the chance to walk in the most typical Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1987. In this pinkish sandstone hill is famously used for film making, Gladiator, Vikings, Babel and so many other movies and series. Driving through these roads will just make hungry as possible so we stop for lunch in the High Atlas Mountains where you will enjoy eating Moroccan food in mountain scenery.
