Day 1: Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou & Dades Gorges
Early morning pick up from your Riad in Marrakech around 8:30am. After breakfast, your journey to the desert starts through the picturesque High Atlas Mountains( 2260m alt), where you get the chance to cross Berber villages on your way South. Stop at the Kasbah of Telouat, caravanserai to salt trading. The road continues to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah via Ounila Valley, the 17th Century Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou served as a camel caravan stop for traders coming from Marrakech towards Timbuktu, the capital of Mali. This Kasbah was home to many movies and series as Gladiator and Game of Thrones and was declared a UNESCO world heritage in 1987. After lunch, the way conitnues to Ouarzazate and Rose Valley, where the building architecture changes to adobe and straw. In the Valley of Roses, makes it special for its famous festival of Rosa Damascena taking place every last week of May.

Day 2: Dades Gorges, Todra Gorges & Erg Chebbi dunes
Today’s special experience will make you fascinated by the culture and lifestyle of Southern nomad people of Morocco. Along the journey deep the desert, you will visit Todra Gorges (600m ft high). Then, half the way, we might make a stop at an old underground irrigation system( Khettaras) to see how people for many centuries used some underground watering technique to preserve water from evaporating as the region looks arid dry. On the way to the Sahara desert, you can stop to dress like a nomad and get a scarf for your camel ride. Ending the day’s tour by a camel trek into the deluxe tents where you will spend the night and have dinner with live local party music.

Day 3: Journey at the Berber nomads hospitality
A free day with a desert native to discover the desert and its specificities, the nomad families living in the desert, fossils, to the ever largest sand dunes in Morocco. Also, a visit to the pre-historic engravings near the Sand Dunes will be an immersive idea to get acquainted with how the nomad people would do their paintings and secret messages and their ways of life. After that, the trip continues to the Khamlia village, where you have lunch and visit the Africans slaves are living in this village, they are no longer slaves once they arrived in Morocco. They do in fact have their own style of Gnawa music which you have the chance to see.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi, Rissani, Nkob, Agdez & Ouarzazate
After your experience in the desert, the road back to Ouarzazate passes Rissani, home to the Alaouite Dynasty and one of the old souks for Camel trading. After three hours drive, you will stop in the Berber town of N’Kob for a tasty local tagin before continuing to explore Draa Valley. You might want to explore the Kasbah of Tamnougalt before crossing Tizi n Tinififte Mountain pass to arrive in Ouarzazate for the night.

Day 5: Ouarzazate- Marrakesh
After your breakfast at your Riad, you meet your driver to cross the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.
